Innovation & Inclusion Awards

Since 2015, The Innovation & Inclusion Awards have been an annual DDN recognition of the outstanding achievements of Asian, Black, Latinx, and Native American digital and technology professionals, nationwide. The objectives of the recognition are to showcase the contributions of diverse digital and tech professionals; inspire the tech industry at-large, to foster a culture of inclusion; facilitate networking, introductions and business connections among diverse digital and tech professionals; and to inspire future generations to pursue innovation and tech careers, regardless of socio-economic background.  Honorees are recognized in five categories during a premier event in New York City attended by approximately 150 technology professionals, including influential innovators, diversity and inclusion officers, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, academics, executives, professionals, media and non-profit organization leaders.  The 2020 Innovation & Inclusion Awards have been postponed due to COVID-19.

Women of Color in Technology Receptions

Launched in 2016, DDN’s Women of Color in Tech initiative celebrates the contributions of women from diverse backgrounds, passions and pursuits in the digital and technology sectors. This carefully curated (invitation-only) assembly of more than 100 leaders; founders; influencers; inventors; creators; advocates; and funders represent what’s NOW and what’s NEXT in the tech universe.  These annual DDN signature events, hosted in New York and Los Angeles provide vital networking opportunities, as well as a forum for diverse, female tech professionals to engage in a constructive, solutions-based conversation around advancing diversity and inclusion in the digital media and tech sectors.  Our 3rd Annual Los Angeles Women of Color in Technology Reception is tentatively scheduled for October 20, 2020.
